1, the choice of caliper

According to the production characteristics, the high-line adopts LPXJ40.8 wire caliper, and the hollow steel wire adopts LPBJ90.8 series bar caliper to carry out on-line size inspection of rolled wire, bar and square steel and hexagonal steel.

2, caliper installation

The rolling caliper system is a complete set of equipment integrating optical, mechanical, electronic circuits, communication and computer software technology. The set of equipment is mainly composed of a caliper, a main control cabinet, an alarm unit, a fiber optic cable communication unit, a field display device, an LED display screen, a high pressure centrifugal fan and the like.

The caliper is installed on the equipment base in a fixed installation mode, and the lower line maintenance uses the hoisting method to move the caliper to a safe position. There is no steel guide groove on the caliper, and the gap between the guide grooves of the rolling line is directly used for measurement. After the caliper is offline, the guide groove can be installed in situ without affecting the normal production of the rolling line.

The high-line two LPXJ40.8 calipers are installed in front of and behind the reduced-size units, and are located at the guides in the middle of the two water-passing tanks (specified at the site). Each LPXJ40.8 caliper comes with 1 set of field display device and 1 LED display. The LED display has a size of 1550×1070mm and the visible distance of the displayed characters is greater than 30 meters. The live display device has a built-in 24-inch LCD monitor and an 8-inch embedded industrial computer that drives the display. The main control room IPC is equipped with a 42-inch LCD monitor.

The hollow steel wire LPBJ90.8 caliper is equipped with 2 sets of on-site display devices (without LED display). Each set of on-site display devices has a built-in 24-inch LCD monitor and a built-in 8-inch embedded industrial computer for driving the display. Two sets of on-site display devices are installed at the first floor of the main control room and at the field operation station. The main control room IPC is equipped with a 42-inch LCD monitor.

The steel caliper has its own thermometer. When the steel passes, the temperature of the steel is measured by a thermometer and converted to a room temperature of 20 °C by computer. In addition, you can set a fixed temperature to correct the size, or choose to directly display the hot size.

3. Software system for rolling steel caliper

" Lapeng Measurement and Control Software Platform " is the software system of rolling steel caliper. The system is built in a modular way. The interface, function, probe and sensor type and quantity of the software can be arbitrarily set according to requirements. The software has powerful data analysis capabilities, can be used for statistical analysis of arbitrary measurement data and fit statistical charts such as wave maps, defect maps, histograms, and pie charts.

After the measurement system is logged in, it will go directly to the main interface. In the measurement state, the maximum diameter, the minimum diameter, the average diameter, the ellipticity and the measured value of the eight-way probe of the round steel can be displayed in real time in the main interface of the round steel measuring system; the dynamic graph of the round steel section is displayed in real time; the measured data is displayed in real time. Dynamic trends. When the measured data changes within the set range, the data appears green; when the measured data is out of tolerance (ie, beyond the set range), the color of the data is red, and the dynamic graphic profile of the corresponding rolled material exceeds the maximum/minimum threshold. The main interface of the rebar measuring system can display the inner diameter of the rebar, the longitudinal rib height and the transverse rib height in real time; the dynamic graph of the base circle section is displayed in real time; the dynamic trend of the inner diameter measurement data is displayed in real time. The main interface of the square steel measurement system displays two side length and diagonal measurement values ​​in real time; the dynamic graph of the square steel section is displayed in real time; the dynamic trend of the side length data is displayed in real time. The main interface of the hexagonal steel measurement system displays the measured distance of the opposite side and the diagonal line in real time; the dynamic graph of the hexagonal steel section is displayed in real time; the dynamic trend of the data of the edge distance is displayed in real time.
